I think that the presentation was good, but it was a little extreme in its predictions, Also I feel that the presentation was mean to the North American people since here the technology still doesn’t reach that level.

Why when we were discussing about the impact of the pedictions in some carrers (like science, or egineering, or others)are going to be higher than in others (like humanities) some partners really pissed off about this. I remember that someone said: "That´s not true, perhaps in practic are many changes, but the theory (in Political Science) doesn´t change to much." I could agree with that, but I ask: How many years does it have this carrer? Perhaps 30 years, 40, 50... this is a carrer, like many others in science, wich are new and maybe, jus maybe, we can say that is result of the predictions of the presentation...

and, in the other side, there are some activities, in humanities, that only need tiny, tiny resources, maybe are the same things from hundreds of years or more... and that isn´t in doubt

I agree with Fernando, the presentation was made with information refered to north american people, here in Mexico as we are catalogued as a underdeveloped country we dont reach that level, if we compare the time that a mexican spent in internet with the time a northamerican spent i´m sure it would be more. and in the other hand we have that mexican people used the internet for education and job purposes and north american use it for entertainment.
